This year’s conference features presenters and a list of topics relevant to perinatal nurses, nurse practioners, ancillary staff, and physicians. The agenda has been designed to help support your current practice with information you need to improve your skill, deepen your understanding, and improve your patient’s outcomes. The Perinatal conference will cover topics on Hemorrhage in Ob emergencies, Obesity and bariatric Surgery, Avoiding early onset Beta-Strep infections in 2015, How the placenta affects your life from womb to tomb, Cholestasis in pregnancy , Cardiac Issues during pregnancy, and the latest update on 2013 hypertensive guidelines during pregnancy.

Cox College Interprofessional Simulation & Education Center is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

7.0 Contact Hours

This program has been deemed appropriate for chaplains to list 7.0 contact hours of continuing education credit. Credit should be listed on the Association of Professional Chaplains Annual Summary of Continuing Education Hours Form in the area of “Workshops/Conferences/Seminars/Symposia.”

Participants will receive statements of credit at the end of the program when all requirements for credit have been met. Satisfactory completion of objectives will occur through program attendance. Early bird registrations ends April 27, 2015. From April 27 – May 4, 2015; a late fee of $15 will be charged in addition to the registration fee.
Cancellations received in writing to EducationCenter@coxcollege.edu by April 27, 2015 will be entitled to a full refund. After this time, a $25 processing fee will be withheld. No refunds will be made the day of the conference. No shows will be charged the full conference fee.

In the event Education Center cancels or reschedules a course, participants are entitled to a full refund or the participant may transfer registration to the next scheduled activity. All refunds must be received in writing via email. CoxHealth is not responsible for travel, hotel, booking fees, or other cancellation fees for registrants when an activity is cancelled.
