Course Information

DO NOT BE LATE TO CLASS. YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO ENTER IF YOU ARE LATE. PLEASE ARRIVE 10-15 MINUTES EARLY. ONCE THE DOOR IS SHUT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED ENTRY AS THIS WILL HOLD UP THE CLASS AND MAKE OTHER STUDENTS LATE IN LEAVING. CLASS STARTS AT THE TIME STATED. THANK YOU.

Description and Target Audience: American Heart Association certification in one-rescuer and two-rescuer adult, child, infant CPR, choking management of the conscious and unconscious, mouth-to-mask ventilation, bag-valve-mask ventilation and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training. This course is for students seeking certification in basic healthcare life support skills, initial or renewal.

Testing: Written exam (25 questions) which must be passed with an 84%. One-on-one skills testing required.

Course Length: 4.0 – 4.5 hours

Certification Length: 2 years
