Description and Target Audience: Renewal course for current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Instructors. This course is for current members of the CoxHealth Training Center. Entry by a non-member must be approved by the Training Center Coordinator. Instructors must be in current standing to attend this course.
Testing: Written exam (25 questions) which must be passed with an 84%. One-on-one skills testing required.
Course Length: 4 hours
Certification Length: 2 years
Fee: $160.00
Includes: Updated handouts, $100.00 Training Center Membership Fee and certification card. This fee covers instructor support for 2 years and required course monitoring visit.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.
