Prerequisite(s): ECH 308
This course is a continuation of an in-depth study of the adult heart anatomy beginning with embryology. The course continues with an in-depth study of cardiac pathology. Emphasis will be placed on interpretation of laboratory tests, related clinical signs and symptoms, and recognition of normal and abnormal sonographic patterns. This course is designed for those who are already registered sonographers.
