Introduction to Professional Nursing

Must be taken prior to acceptance into the BSN Entry-Level program.                                This course provides a historical perspective of nursing and presents an overview of the nursing profession and concepts basic to nursing practice in light of the college’s philosophy of nursing and curricular threads. The nursing process is introduced as the decision-making approach in the delivery of nursing care.
