Patient Care in Radiography

Introduction to patient care, communication techniques in the imaging field, patient preparations for radiologic examinations, infection control and surgical aseptic technique, vital signs and recognizing and treating medical emergencies is taught. This course will also expose the student to different health care professions and health care delivery systems.
