Cox College awards over $243,000 in scholarships from the CoxHealth Foundation and the CoxHealth Auxiliary. This is made possible by our loyal supporters.

Scholarships are available as funds are available. If you would like to donate to the CoxHealth Foundation please see the attached form.

What is the CoxHealth Foundation?

Who makes the scholarships possible?

These scholarships are awarded to exceptional high school, transfer and returning students who wish to pursue their degree program at Cox College. Submission of the General Scholarship application is required. CGPAs are automatically checked at the end of each semester. These scholarships are funded by the following benefactors: Lester L. Cox, Lester E. Cox, Lillie Ward Wood, Levan, Peggy Pemeroy, Rinker Memorial, Dee Ann White, Janie Campbell, Musgrave, Carles Bush, Hannan, Mackey, Dick Brumfield, Polk Memorial, Thelma Silsby, Arthur, Magers, Burks and Cheryl Feeney. Awards will not exceed funds available for the academic year.

Awards are based on the following criteria:

Scholarship Application, One page Essay and One Professional References are due at the time of submission. Failure to complete the Scholarship Application will result in withdraw from the pool of applicant. Scholarship Monies will only be applied to tuition and fees after the add drop period.

  • Cumulative GPA (Current and Transfer credit hours)
  • Financial Need (must complete a FAFSA and turned in all verification paper work, if applicable; www.fafasa.edu.gov )
  • One Page Essay (Why did you choose this degree? What make you the best candidate for a scholarship?)
  • Professional References

What is the CoxHealth Auxiliary?

Scholarship Application, One page Essay and One Professional References are due at the time of submission. Failure to complete the Scholarship Application will result in withdraw from the pool of applicant. Scholarship monies will only be applied to tuition and fees after the add drop period.

This program provides matriculated nursing students with full-tuition financial aid at Cox College. Candy striper or hospital volunteer service will be given priority for consideration, but is not necessary.

This scholarship is awarded to a single parent or head of household, with demonstrated financial need. The recipient must maintain a 3.25 CPGA and maintain a full-time enrollment. This $500 scholarship is offered by Greater Ozarks Business Women of Missouri whose mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information. It is awarded annually to a student enrolled in Cox College School of Nursing or Health Sciences for a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester. Recipients must be a United States citizen and a resident of Missouri who demonstrates a need for financial assistance.
