The CoxHealth 3rd Annual Pediatric Trauma Conference is a one-day conference designed to provide knowledge and skills related to the care of pediatric trauma patients and their families. As the leading cause of death and disability in children*, trauma care of the pediatric patient touches multiple disciplines across the care spectrum–physicians, midlevel providers, nurses, EMS personnel, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and other disciplines will benefit from attending this conference. The conference will seek to explore the unique challenges that trauma in the pediatric setting presents, as well as provide an evidence-based overview of trauma prevention and treatment.
