The information presented will include practical applications for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, athletic trainers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other health care professionals seeking to enhance the care of this patient population.

Dr. Michael Hartman, MD is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and fellowship-trained in sports medicine. He currently serves as the team orthopaedic surgeon for the New Orleans Saints, he leads the sports medicine division of the Louisiana State University Healthcare Network, and serves as associate professor and residency program director of orthopaedic surgery at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Dr. Hartman is especially interested in arthroscopic surgery with emphasis on knee ligament (ACL) reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability, and cartilage injuries.
