Nutrition Diagnostics

Take up your starring role in medical nutrition therapy.

Hello and welcome!  We are happy you have found us and have interest in our program!  We know this is a very stressful time for you and hope to provide some clear directions, as well as the information you need to decide if our program is right for you.

Our program is unique in many ways, one of which is the kind of student we are looking for.  While GPA is important, having the best GPA is not the key to being a great RD!  We like well-rounded students who are not afraid of hard work and are willing to be challenged to think differently, ask questions, and explore and challenge established practices.  Our approach of Nutrition Diagnostics is a template for practicing evidence based medical nutrition therapy that can be used not only in the hospital, but in primary care clinics, outpatient clinics and community nutrition programs – anywhere where people eat and struggle with the common Western diseases!  Our ultimate goal is to train forward thinking RDs who can thoroughly assess patients' nutritional status, diagnose their specific nutrition problems and then provide targeted evidence-based nutrition interventions that are intended to optimize their health.  If your goal is to help people maintain and improve their health using nutrition, we are the program for you!

  1. Set up an interview – do this ASAP, as the process moves very quickly and is competitive. Use this link to pick your time: Interview Signup Link
  2. Apply to Cox College via DICAS. Again, do this as quickly as possible – we need this prior to your interview.
  3. If you are struggling to get the application into DICAS before your interview, email your DICAS application to:
  4. Do not apply to Cox College. If you are selected, you can officially apply at that time.

Please take some time to review the details of both of our programs, as we have two different tracks with openings in both options:
