Nutrition Diagnostics

Take up your starring role in medical nutrition therapy.

Hello and welcome!  We are happy you have found us and have interest in our program!  We know this is a very stressful time for you and hope to provide some clear directions, as well as the information you need to decide if our program is right for you (see links and short video below).

Our program is unique in many ways, one of which is the kind of student we are looking for.  While GPA is important, having the best GPA is not the key to being a great RD!  We like well-rounded students who are not afraid of hard work and are willing to be challenged to think differently, ask questions, and explore and challenge established practices.  Our approach of Nutrition Diagnostics is a template for practicing evidence based medical nutrition therapy that can be used not only in the hospital, but in primary care clinics, outpatient clinics and community nutrition programs – anywhere where people eat and struggle with the common Western diseases!  Our ultimate goal is to train forward thinking RDs who can thoroughly assess patients' nutritional status, diagnose their specific nutrition problems and then provide targeted evidence-based nutrition interventions that are intended to optimize their health.  If your goal is to help people maintain and improve their health using nutrition, we are the program for you!
