Jordan Mize is a clinical dietitian preceptor for the Cox College Nutrition Diagnostics Dietetic Internship. She began this role in April 2018 and serves as a preceptor for clinical experiences for students in the ND-DI program.
Jordan graduated from MSU with a BS in Dietetics and then went on to graduate in the first class of the MND/DI program at Cox College in 2015. Jordan’s particular nutrition interests stemmed from the in depth coursework from the masters program as she is truly fascinated with the nutriokinetics and dynamics of micronutrients and the evolving world of nutrition research.
She worked as an outpatient dietitian for 3 years after graduating where she was able to hone her nutrition counseling skills and developed a deeper passion for helping those with chronic disease. She also had the pleasure of precepting students from a local dietetic internship and discovered the symbiotic benefit of teaching, which led to her current role with the ND-DI program.
