Nurse Practitioner
You’ve got what it takes to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) track prepares baccalaureate registered nurses seeking to become Advanced Practice Nurses who provide primary health care to clients across the life-span. Admission for this track is in the spring and fall semesters. This track includes online didactic coursework and clinical practicums.
FNP Program Overview
The MSN Program can be completed in as few as 5 semesters of full-time study or 7 semesters of part-time study.
The FNP degree offers 45 credits. Upon completion of the degree, the graduate is eligible to take the national certification exam as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Our MSN program also offers a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner track that requires 46 credit hours for completion. A post-masters certificate option is also offered for both tracks.
