Cox College is no longer admitting students and plans to cease operations at the end of Summer 2027 to allow current students to finish their intended plan of study.

Cox Health, in partnership with Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC), Missouri State University (MSU), and Springfield Public Schools (SPS), has recently formed the Alliance for Healthcare Education. The Alliance is dedicated to serving the healthcare education needs of the Southwest Missouri region. Interested students should visit the Alliance for Healthcare Education website here .

Follow the step-by-step guide below to complete and submit your college application.

1. Complete the Cox College application along with the $50 application fee. The form may be filled completed online or downloaded, printed, and submitted by mail or email to the Admissions department.

2. Complete your FAFSA application at fafsa.ed.gov. Use school code 013877 for Cox College.

3. Request that your official transcripts be sent to Cox College. Visit this page for more information.

4. Apply for institutional scholarships. Visit this page for more information.

5. When you meet all program requirements for your chosen program, complete the program-specific application, which you can locate under Admissions Downloads, Quick Links, and Resources, below.

Admission Requirements

If you’re a first-time student, you must meet the following requirements to apply:

• An official high school transcript or official G.E.D. certificate
• A high school cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
• A minimum composite ACT score of 18 or higher or an SAT combined score of 860 or higher

*If these requirements are not met, you might still be eligible for provisional admittance. Talk with an admissions counselor about your options.

If you’re a transfer student, you must meet the following requirements to apply:

• Must have passed 12 college hours
• Maintain a college cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
